42-year-old Selanne records 4 points … again!

Teemu Selanne, who opened his season by becoming the third 42-year-old player in NHL history to record four points in a game (two goals and two assists at Vancouver), matched that feat with a goal and three assists in the Ducks’ shootout win at St. Louis on Saturday. ┬áSelanne has now done something twice in 22 days that had been accomplished only twice over the first 94 seasons in NHL history, by Gordie Howe (1971) and Tim Horton (1972).
